The studio focused on studying Avenue des Grandes-Communes in Onex. This avenue hosted several student projects aimed at revitalizing it.
Oasis serves as a landmark, a vertical tower at the entrance of the avenue, marking the beginning of the exhibition. It is a structure that repurposes existing elements from the site, namely flower pots. The pot becomes the central element of the project, both conceptually and structurally, symbolizing the presence of vegetation in a concrete environment.
The structure "clamps" onto the pot, making it function as an anchor for the rest of the construction. Oasis offers platforms at various heights, without imposing any specific functionality. Tarps provide shade and also act as funnels to direct water to the plants during periods of rain.
